The "Where is Boyè?" Fund

The "Where is Boyè?" Fund is dedicated to providing music lessons, arts integrated learning, and computer technology support to children, families, business owners, and creatives of all walks of life. 

As a young girl unimpressed by the riches and fame in Hollywood, an encounter with a street artist on Venice Beach named Boyè touched my life in a way I will never forget. It was not in what was said, as he remained silent throughout the experience, yet my 11-year old intuition knew that the communication was happening through his art-making. As the portrait came to life, I had the realization that art was not something I did for riches or fame. Art was something I did because it was natural to me and always would be. Growing up in a world where artists are told that they will be broke and that it is extremely difficult for artists to be successful, I found myself constantly battling inner thoughts that threatened to destroy my very way of being. That is why I am so thankful that now, as an adult, I have the opportunity to chart my own path and manifest the health, wealth, and fruits of the spirit that already dwell within.
